It pinpoints an individual\u2019s current communication level and gives a framework for determining future goals.<\/h3>\n<p id=\"theScienceFoundationP2\">The Matrix includes all types of communication, including alternative forms (picture systems, electronic devices, voice-output systems, Braille, sign language and 3D symbols) and pre-symbolic communication (gestures, body movement, sounds, eye gaze and facial expressions), as well as typical communication (speech). It covers seven levels of development in the earliest stages of communication.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/communicationmatrix.org\/Matrix\/About\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a><\/h3>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&#8220;Multi-modal communication: EVERYTHING an individual uses to communicate or enhance communication. Different strategies may be needed for different situations and communication partners.
